Northern Sky Raid Tools

How to use the NSRT addon to receive your raid plans in-game

Last updated: February 25, 2026

What is NSRT

Northern Sky Raid Tools (NSRT) is the in-game addon that receives your exported cooldown and assignment plans. Once your raidleader copies the notes from the Setup page, every raider with the addon sees their personal reminders during the fight.

Install the addon from CurseForge. Required for all raiders to receive notes and reminders in-game.

Reminders Notes Tab: Enable the visible notes you want

The Notes tab in NSRT is where you paste the exported plan from Wowutils. Your raidleader uses Copy All Notes on the Setup page to copy everything, then pastes it into the addon.

There are 3 display types:

  • Red - Personal Reminders. Filtered to show only reminders for your character
  • Blue - Shared Reminders. Your reminders and everyone else's reminders
  • Green - Text Notes. Assignments and other readable notes

I suggest disabling Shared Reminders as they are not really useful.

If you also have a Personal Note along with the Shared one, the contents merge together. This lets you micromanage your own defensives while your raidleader handles the raid CDs. Remember to check "use personal reminders" on top of importing them.

Reminders Tab: Customising your in-combat display

This page has a bunhc of settings for how you display the reminders in-combat.

Click Toggle Alerts in the top right to see how reminders look in game. Chose Icons or Bars for CDs, and Text is displayed in the Text window.

You and your raidleader shares the note from the setup. You can also share your own personal reminders from the right side; the contents of both notes merge together.

Sharing and toggling the notes in NSRT

NSRT has two ways of enabling Reminders

  • Personal Reminders - only you see these; useful for custom notes you add yourself
  • Shared Reminders - distributed by the raidleader via the note; pushes the data to all raiders with NSRT.

Raidleader exports from Copy All Notes on the Setup page. Go to NSRT, click Shared Reminders and paste the entire output. When a note is loaded, NSRT reads the cooldown and assignment data and shows each player only what they are responsible for. This includes spell timers, text reminders, and assignment callouts.

Before each boss pull, toggle the correct note to make it active. This loads the plan for that specific encounter.

  • LOAD - Activates and shares the Note to everyone in the raid. Is also automatically reshared on pulltimer in case someone didnt recieve it.
  • INVITE - Invite the people in on this boss to the raid.
  • ARRANGE - Arrange the raid frames based on the invite string order.
  • SHOW - Preview the Text notes before sharing them.

Your raidleader can also toggle notes for the entire raid using the addon's share functionality. Check Shared Reminders in the settings to receive notes shared by your raidleader.
