Open My Groups and press New team, pick Retail or WoW Forever, name the team and press Create team. You become the team's owner and admin straight away, and the next step is inviting your raiders with a link.
Create your team
Open the new team page
Press New team at the top of My Groups, or New at the top of the team switcher.
Pick the game
Choose the Retail or the WoW Forever card. Each card lists what a team in that game gets.
Name it
The picked card asks for the Team name: up to 20 characters, letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens, underscores, apostrophes and periods. Your guild name works well. A WoW Forever team also asks for its Region (US, EU, KR or TW), its Ruleset (Normal, PvP, Roleplay or Roleplay PvP, the one your characters picked: you can only group with players on the same ruleset) and, in a region with more than one, its Server time, which starts on the region's usual one. Admins can change the ruleset later under Settings > General.
Create the team
Press Create team. You're the owner and an admin of the new team.

- WoW Forever opens on the team's Roster, ready for your first characters.
Not in a team yet? The welcome screen's Start your team does the same in one place: name it, pick the game and press Create team.
What to do next
- Invite your raiders from Members with a link. See Members and Invites.
- Build the roster under Roster, or let each raider add their own characters after they join. See Your Team Roster.
- Change your team's settings later under Settings > General, as an admin.
