1. Cookies we need
These make the site work, so they are always on.
- Sign-in: keeps you signed in with Battle.net and protects sign-in from forgery.
- Language: remembers the language you picked, for a year.
- Region: set by our network provider so we know whether to ask for your cookie choice.
- Cookie choice: remembers what you chose in the cookie banner.
2. Cookies that need your permission
- Analytics: Google Analytics counts visits and shows which tools people use, so we know what to improve.
- Ads: Google AdSense shows ads, which keep WowUtils free. Supporters, and members of groups boosted to the highest tier, see no ads.
3. Your choice
Visitors from the EU, UK and Switzerland choose which of these to allow when they first arrive, and can change that choice here at any time. Elsewhere, analytics and ads run without asking. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser; signing in stops working without the sign-in cookie.
4. Storage in your browser
Besides cookies, the site keeps your preferences in your browser’s own storage: views, filters, zoom, which group you last opened and unsaved planner drafts. It is used only for those settings, never to track you.
5. More
What we collect and why is in the Privacy Policy. This policy covers wowutils.com and everything under it.
