Invite your team

1

Open Members and press Invite

Only admins make invite links.

2

Choose how long the link works

Anything from 1 day to 1 year. The default is 2 days.

3

Press New link and share it

The link is copied for you. Post it wherever your raiders talk, along with Joining a Team so they know what to do.

One link fits the whole team. It works for every raider until it runs out. Your open links are listed under Active Links, where you can remove one early.

Joining takes a Battle.net login. The invited player sees your team's name and who invited them, then signs in with Battle.net. No separate account is needed.

When the team is full

The Members page shows how many people are on the team out of how many fit. Each person takes one spot however many characters they play. A full team tells new joiners This team is full, so remove someone or boost the team to make room.

Ranks and what they allow

Every member has a rank: Viewer, Raider, Editor, Officer, or Custom when an admin changes single permissions. Admins and the owner sit above the ranks and can do everything.

  • New members start as Raider. An admin can pick another starting rank under Settings > General, in Default preset for new members.
  • Admins change a rank from a member's Manage menu with Change Preset, and fine-tune each rank under Rank Permissions.
  • Only the owner makes admins, with Promote to Admin and Demote to Member.

The permissions every team uses are about the roster: Self-Claim lets a member claim their own roster spot (on for Raider, Editor and Officer), Edit Own Roster Card lets them keep their own characters up to date, and Edit Roster lets them add and change anyone's.

Remove someone

Open their Manage menu and pick Remove from Group. Admins can remove members, only the owner can remove an admin, and nobody can remove the owner. Their characters stay on your roster.

Leaving or handing over a team

Everything here lives under Settings > Danger Zone, and each action asks you to confirm first.

  • Leave Group (everyone but the owner): you're off the team. You'll need a new invite to rejoin.
  • Transfer Ownership (owner only): pick a member to become the new owner. They become an admin too.
  • Delete Group (owner only): removes the team and everything in it for every member. It can't be undone.
When the owner has gone quiet

If the owner hasn't signed in for 180 days, any other admin can claim the team under Group ownership in the Danger Zone. The claim completes after 14 days, and stops if the owner signs in. The admin who claimed, any other admin or the owner can cancel it before then.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't I see the Invite button?
Only admins make invite links. Ask your team's owner or an admin for a link, or to make you an admin.
I left a team by mistake. Can I come back?
Yes, with a new invite link from an admin. Your characters stay on the roster while you're gone.
How do I leave a team I own?
Hand it to someone first with Transfer Ownership under Settings > Danger Zone, then leave. If nobody should keep the team, Delete Group removes it for everyone.
