WCL Compare
Analyze your raid logs against your assigned cooldowns and track player performance
Where to Find It
Click the WCL icon in the left sidebar and select Compare. You can also access analysis shared with the group from the Player-Sheet, the Setup page, or the Group Hub Insights tab.
Purpose
WCL Compare takes your Warcraft Logs and compares casts across pulls, and lets you identify consistency issues or missed assignments. See who pressed their cooldowns, who missed them, and how consistent your raid is over time.

How to Use
- Import a Warcraft Logs report from the Group Hub Insights tab, or paste a report link on the WCL Compare page.
- Select a boss to see the comparison for that encounter.
- Switch between Player view and Raid view to focus on individuals or the full team.
Views
Player View
Shows one player at a time with all their assigned and actual casts aligned over rows. Use this to review individual performance or discuss specific assignments with a raider.
Raid View
Shows the entire raid's comparison in one view. Each row is a player with a summary of their hit/miss status across all assigned cooldowns.
Good for a quick overview of raid-wide compliance after a pull or a night of raiding.
Compare to Assigned CDs
Link to the CDs of a Setup page, and compare your actual casts to the planned assignments.
When toggled, it shows the planned assignemnts as icons above the actual wcl casts. Hightlight specific areas of combat to see Cast Summary for that moment.
Trend Analysis
Trend Analysis identifies patterns in your cast usage. It looks at how many casts did you have in this timespan vs how many pulls reached the start of the timespan.
Adjsut the timespan it groups casts by in the sidebar.
- Clear consistency is good, and shows that the player has a script for the fight, and executes it well.
- Patterns of missed assignments are a good indication of where the player needs to improve.
- Many random singular casts might indicate that the player doesnt know when to do what, or are missclicking spells.
In this example, you can see that the player(me) clearly has no idea when to cast Tip the Scales, and should probably shape up on casting Zephyr more consistently.
Cast Summary
The Cast Summary is a popup when you highlight a section in the timeline. It shows you a summary of the casts in that section.
The summary is the number of casts per spell vs the number of pulls that reached the start of the timespan. Giving an idea of how consistently you cast spells in that window.
Here we can see that Asaaurora missewd 3 casts of windrush over 16 pulls. And zaappers missed 1 cast. Oralboio is a great gamer and didn't miss a single cast!
Sharing
WCL Compare reports have three visibility levels:
- Private - only you can see the analysis
- Group - all members of your group can view it
- Public - anyone with the link can access it
Note that the Compare to Assigned CDs is only availalbe to people in your group.
Automatic Sharing via Group Hub
When you import logs from the Group Hub Insights tab, the comparison is automatically shared with your guild. It becomes visible on:
- Group Hub - under the Insights section
- Setup page - condensed per-boss summary
- Player-Sheet - each raider sees their own performance
This means raiders can check their own results without the raidleader needing to send links around.
See the Group Hub guide for more on the Insights tab and log importing.
