Apotheosis dramatically accelerates Holy Word cooldown reduction and reduces the mana cost of Holy Words by 50% for its duration, letting the priest spam Holy Word: Serenity and Holy Word: Sanctify far more often than usual.

This is a sustained throughput cooldown rather than a burst heal. Its duration can be extended via talents (~30+ seconds), and as Archon it pairs strongly with Halo and Surge of Light procs to fuel a long burst window.

Assign on extended damage windows where the priest benefits from a long, high-throughput window rather than a single burst. Apotheosis should generally be used as often as possible, so place it on a recurring damage pattern that lines up with its 2-minute cooldown.

It is also strong during movement, the Holy Words it lets the priest spam are instant-cast, so throughput holds up even while repositioning.

For Archon, queue Halo just before pressing Apotheosis to maximize Surge of Light generation and Resonant Energy stacking during the window.
