Healing Tide Totem is a 'drop and forget' raid healing totem that pulses healing to nearby allies every 2 seconds over 10 seconds. Base cooldown is 3 minutes, reduced to 2 minutes when First Ascendant is talented, which few Shamans do.

It is the weaker side of this choice node, Ascendance is what gets run. The Totemic talents Splitstream and Primal Catalyst do still amplify it, so it remains a reasonable situational pick when a fight rewards a stacked, drop-and-forget raid heal.

Use it for sustained raid damage windows where the raid is stacked within the totem's range. Strong filler after primary cooldowns are assigned to cover remaining damage events.
