Description
Summons Yu'lon for 25 seconds, periodically smart-healing the raid and granting a 5% healing-done buff. Through Celestial Harmony the dragon also applies Chi Cocoon shields to nearby players and reduces Enveloping Mist cast time.
The monk chooses between Yu'lon and Invoke Chi-Ji at a talent node. Yu'lon is the meta raid pick and the primary build is centered around its windows.
The window plays in two phases: a ramp where the monk plants their feet and spreads Enveloping Mist to as many targets as possible, followed by a dump phase of channeled Vivify / Soothing Breath healing. Both phases require standing still, so Yu'lon loses significant HPS to movement. When assigning Yu'lon, the monk should not be expected to relocate during the cast. Spatial Paradox from an Evoker can mitigate this on fights with forced movement.
How To Assign
Assign onto a long, 20+ second damage window so both the ramp and dump phases get full value. The monk also wants to plant their feet for as much of the duration as possible, since both phases lose throughput to movement.
Try not to overlap it with Celestial Conduit. During the Yu'lon window the monk wants to be casting their own healing, not spending the duration channeling Conduit, splitting the two into separate damage windows covers more of the fight and gets more out of each.
