You can now make a team for WoW Forever next to your retail groups. It starts with the roster, a raid calendar with signups, the people on your team, Boost and Baldio in your Discord. Retail groups work as before.
Creating a Forever team
New team. Pick WoW Forever on the New team page, then name your team and set its region, its ruleset (Normal, PvP, Roleplay or Roleplay PvP) and its server time. The team header shows both, for example EU · PvP.
Setup checklist. A new team opens on four steps: add yourself to the roster, bring in your team, set your raid times and choose what new raiders can do.
Crest in the switcher. Every team in the switcher shows its game's crest, and Forever teams carry a WoW Forever label in the hub.
Roster
The nine classes. Adding a character offers the nine Forever classes, each with its three talent trees as specs. Characters are added by name, with no realm.
- Imports check the class. Pasting a retail roster export into a Forever team skips characters of a class Forever does not have, and names them.
Calendar
Raid nights. Set your raid times once and the nights fill your calendar. Add a one-off night for a single raid whenever you need one.
Signups. Raiders answer Present, Absent, Tentative or Late with a comment, and you can add guests to a night. Raiders can mark time away, and Stats shows each raider's signups over time.
- The launch raids. The calendar knows Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia's Lair. More bosses join as Blizzard confirms them.
Members and Boost
Invites and ranks. Send an invite link, give officers their rank and decide what raiders may change on the roster. A new member lands on a short setup page to claim their roster spot and add their characters.
Boost. Supporter points count toward any team, Retail or WoW Forever. A free Forever team already has room for 50 people and 150 characters, so your whole guild can use it without paying. Each tier adds more, up to 150 people and 1,000 characters. The Supporter page shows what each tier gives a team in either game.
Audit Log. Under Settings, the log shows who joined or left, who changed ranks, who added or claimed a roster spot and who changed the raid calendar.
- Settings. General holds the team's region, ruleset and server time, and Danger Zone transfers or deletes the team.
Discord and Baldio
Connect your Discord server under Integrations and Baldio takes your raid nights into your own channels.
- Raid night posts with signups. Baldio keeps your next raids posted in the channels you pick, with who has signed up, and updates each post when a night or a signup changes.
- Signup reminders. Before each raid, Baldio pings the raiders who have not signed up yet.
- Team updates. One channel can tell your team what changed: raid nights, signups, roster joins and leaves, and members linking their Discord.
Coming next
Recruiting and Loot. Both sit in your team's menu marked Soon. Point at one to see what it brings.
Guild Roster. It stays locked until Blizzard offers WoW Forever character data to sites like ours.
Around the app
- New help guides. Creating a Team, Members and Invites and Your Team Roster are new in Help, and Calendar & Signups, Audit Log and Baldio now cover Forever teams too, with the differences between the two games marked where they apply.
Start your team
Open the New team page, pick WoW Forever, name your team and create it. Creating a Team walks through it, and your raiders join from the invite link you send them.
As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord or on the Community page.
