The WowUtils addon and Bridge are out for everyone

Release
In-game

Written by Penkek

The in-game side of WowUtils has been quietly out for a while. Now it's official: the WowUtils addon is on CurseForge as a free beta, and WowUtils Bridge is a free download for Windows.

The WowUtils addon

Every raider installs this one. In game it shows your team's loot wishlists and sim results where the loot actually drops, so a loot council decision happens with the numbers on screen instead of in another window. It also reads what the Warcraft API keeps to itself: crest balances, per-slot upgrade watermarks, your real Great Vault contents, and Spark counts, and your group sees them on WowUtils.

Install it from CurseForge: search for wowutils, ours is the one by Ironi. Another addon shows up for the same search.

WowUtils Bridge

The small desktop app that moves the data both ways: your team's loot data into the game, and what the addon reads back out to the site. Only one person per guild needs to run it, an owner or admin of your group; in game the addon shares the data with everyone else in the raid. It's a free Windows download, and the download page shows how to verify the file before you run it.

Who installs what

The short version: every raider installs the addon, one owner or admin runs Bridge. The What your raid installs page lays out the whole picture, including Northern Sky Raid Tools, the third-party addon by the Northern Sky team that shows your cooldown plan in raid.

Both are in beta, so expect rough edges and tell us about them.

As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord or on the Community page.
