v5.76.0: AutoComp improvements, easier joining and small UI fixes

Update

Written by Viserio

This release teaches AutoComp to handle more of what a raid week throws at it, makes joining a team work a bit better, and fixes a batch of small UI and UX issues.

AutoComp

AutoComp could replace a hand-built comp with empty bosses and never say why. Now it stops and shows you first, and it copes with more of a real raid week.

Held for review. A run that would empty a boss or cut a lot of seats waits for you instead of applying, and says why.

Undo. The toast after applying names what fell short and has an Undo button.

Calendar sign-ups. On a setup tied to a raid night, Absent players start unticked and Tentative, Late and Standby get a badge.

Role check. The picker counts tanks, healers and DPS, off-specs included, and warns when a role is short.

  • Lock-outs your way. Pick Same boss only, the new default, Whole raid, or Off, so two nights of one raid no longer block each other.
The AutoComp pool with Same boss only picked: players also in Mythic Night 1 stay checked, absent players start unchecked
The AutoComp pool with Whole raid picked: players already in Mythic Night 1 start unchecked, with a hint on how to override
The AutoComp pool with lock-outs Off: players also in Mythic Night 1 stay checked and nobody is kept out
  • Better comps. Heroic seats up to 30 with buyers included, declared off-specs can fill a missing tank or healer seat, and the vault aims for full slots at 2, 4 and 6 kills.
  • Want in on your main or alt. When a raider marks "want in" on a boss, AutoComp brings that character, main or alt, and Suggested ticks alts that want in.
  • Fixes. A run only ever applies to the setup it was built for, the picker fits on a phone, and a failed run tells you what to do next.

Joining a team

Joining a team works a bit better.

  • Invites say who they're from. Invite links show the guild, realm, raid nights and who sent them.
  • Spot requests you can follow. A request shows it's waiting, and you can cancel it.
  • A smoother start. Imported characters count straight away, new raiders land on their You page, and team setup remembers your progress on every device.

Smaller UI and UX fixes

  • The right week. The Planning Hub, your You page and Open my raid sheet follow your next raid night, and weeks read as "Week 11 · Oct 21–27".
  • Carry a plan onto a night. A raid night's Plan a setup menu offers "Carry Week N's plan here".
A raid night's Plan a setup menu offering to carry Week 7's plan into Week 11
  • Loot warnings name names. Each warning shows the item and the player who wants it.
  • Sims for the right fight. A sim for another fight no longer counts as done, though QE Live sims always do.
  • Copy my note. The copy menu can copy only your own lines.

As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord or on the Community page.
