v5.30.5: Baldio's setup lives on the website

Update
Discord bot

Written by Penkek

Over the last few releases every part of setting Baldio up moved to your group's Integrations page. The fifteen commands that did the same job from Discord are gone in this release, so the / picker shows what Baldio actually does rather than five groups you have to pick between.

What moved

All of it lives under Integrations, on the channel cards.

  • The /channel commands. Calendar posts, the activity feed, reminders and channel bindings are on the card for the channel they run in, each with an edit and a stop.
  • The /schedule commands. The weekly setup post is Post your setups on a channel card, with the day, the time and the next post in plain text.
  • /server set-roles. Officer and raider roles are on the Discord bot status card, for the whole server and for each team on its own.

What stays in Discord

  • /post posts a setup, a chosen reset or a raid night, with role mentions.
  • /raider lets a raider set their signup status or submit a sim link.
  • /channel unbind-group releases a channel from the team it answers for. It is there for the case the website cannot cover, a channel bound to a team that is no longer around to release it.
  • /help is new, and anyone on your server can run it. Baldio answers privately with a link to the Integrations page for whichever team that channel belongs to, plus what it still does from Discord. Point people at it instead of explaining.

Nothing you set up changes

Every calendar subscription, activity feed, reminder, channel binding and weekly setup post keeps running exactly as configured. The website was already writing the same settings, so there is nothing to redo and nothing to check.

As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord.
