v4.33.0: Fresher roster data and one-button log imports

Two changes this release, both about trusting what's on screen. Your Group Hub now shows how current each character's data is, not just when it last synced. And getting your raid logs in is down to one button that never leaves you stuck.

Know how fresh your roster data is

Across your Group Hub there's a small clock next to each character and report. It used to just say when something last synced. Now its color tells you how much to trust what you're looking at before you pull.

  • A clock you can read at a glance. Green is current, amber is a few days old, red means refresh before you lean on it. Blue means your Mythic+ rating is current while the gear read is a touch older.
  • A Data tab for the whole roster. The Roster Report has a new Data tab: your team's average freshness, the oldest, and who's due for a refresh, split between gear from Blizzard and Mythic+ and progress from Raider.io.
  • Two buttons, clear jobs. Sync Guild Members pulls your guild's current roster from Battle.net, so new members show up and people who left drop off. Refresh Roster Data moves your raid team to the front of the queue, so their gear, item level, and Mythic+ refresh sooner.
  • Your raiders stay the freshest. The people you actually pull with refresh most often, so once your team is rostered, it mostly takes care of itself.
  • Shorter waits for everyone. We loosened the refresh limits across the board, free groups included, so every team waits less between refreshes than before. Supported groups get the shortest waits and sync on their own most often.

For where each number comes from and how often it updates, there's a new guide: How Your Data Stays Fresh.

Every level got faster, free included. A free group's wait between refreshes dropped from 7 days to 3, and its automatic roster sync from two weeks to one, roughly cut in half. Supported groups gained even more: a 12-hour wait is now 3, and 3 hours is now 1. Here's where everyone landed:

Getting your logs in, without the dead ends

Pulling your real raid nights from Warcraft Logs had grown a tangle of buttons, and two ways to get stuck: logs that expired before they synced, and imports that hit a wall on a busy night. Both are fixed.

  • One button per night. Refresh this night rebuilds a night's timeline and insights in a single step, in place of the separate actions it used to take.
  • Expired logs get flagged, not lost. If a night's detailed logs age out of our system before they're turned into insights, those fights now carry a Needs recovery tag. You can re-pull them straight from Warcraft Logs in the night's detail, instead of a line of text telling you it's too late.
  • Mark a night so it doesn't count. Don't count this night drops an off-night from attendance, insights, stats, and the timeline at once. It's reversible: every excluded night sits in its own list, one click from counting again.
  • Imports that finish themselves. On a busy night, an import that can't run right away now queues and runs automatically when there's room, shown as Up next with the wait. No more rejected imports to remember and retry.
  • Mid-raid syncs catch up. If you imported a report partway through the night, re-syncing now pulls in the pulls that came after, instead of stopping at the count it saw the first time. Your kills, wipes, and clear progress through Midnight Season 1 stay complete.

Around the app

  • Zoom your stats to one boss. The Stats tab now has an All Bosses filter, so you can read your numbers for a single encounter instead of the whole raid at once.
  • Calmer notifications. Pop-up confirmations now appear in the bottom-right corner with a quieter look, the color on the icon instead of the whole panel.
  • A nudge when your refresh speeds up. When your group reaches a support level that refreshes the roster more often, a banner offers to switch it on with a single sync.

As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord or on the Community page.
