Curio is here (kinda)

What is Curio?

Curio has been in the works for a while. Viserio and I have been wanting to work on loot stuff for a long time, but didn't want to make yet another loot tracker or droptemizer aggregator. We wanted to actually solve split optimization - you know, that thing that takes forever to do properly by hand.

The good news: it works. It can make loot-optimized splits that would take you ages to figure out manually.

The bad news: we haven't had time to polish it. The UI is rough, some stuff might break, but the core functionality is solid.

Fixed a ton of bugs

We've been fixing stuff non-stop for the last two days:

• Characters from realms with apostrophes (Drak'thul, Zul'jin) actually work now
• No more duplicate characters showing up
• Alt selection doesn't let you pick more chars than you have slots for
• Works with big rosters (70+ chars)
• Tank/healer distribution actually makes sense now
• Fine tuning optimizer scores based on feedback

Later today we'll push an update for mid-raid assistance. Should help you figure out who to give loot to during raid based on your splits.

How to use it

Go to wowutils.com/curio. You need a Viserio roster set up first.

Works best with 20+ characters and 2-3 splits.

Future

In the future we hope to make Curio the premier loot optimization tool for WoW. It will integrate neatly with the setups and roster we already have. If you have feedback, ideas or directions you'd like us to take, drop some feedback on Discord!
