Every post, reminder and reply Baldio sends in Discord now leads with the thing you look for. Plans can also fire timers before the pull, and assignments ask which strategy your team runs.

Baldio V2

Raid-night posts put the head count last, in grey, under four lists of names. Team updates came as a pile of identical cards, and errors read like log lines.

Raid nights

Roster picture. Everyone coming, by role, in class colours. A late player carries a clock.

Big nights. A 100-person night never got a post. Now it does, and past 45 coming the picture shows each role's count by class.

  • Head count on top. "18 of 20 coming" is the biggest line.
  • Everyone else. Can't make it, maybe, standby and no answer get one short line each.
  • Signups close at your team's signup lock, if you set one, and the post counts down to it.
  • Setups on the night. Up to three setup pictures sit on its post.

Team updates

  • One post before each raid with everything that changed since the last one, 3 hours before by default. Your channels switch to this with the update. Pick another time, or go back to As it happens or Once a day, in the channel's Team updates settings.
  • Urgent changes still post at once: new applications, and sign-offs or changes for the coming night.
  • One card per change. "Now starts at 19:30", then "Was 20:00 · Changed by Velrith".
  • Plan swaps by boss. "Nek'zali: Thalor in, Brannoc out".
  • Applications get their own message, so they ping only the roles you picked for them.

Reminders

  • Only who hasn't answered, once each. Past 80 people it pings the reminder's role once with a count, or, with no role set, the first 80 by name and counts the rest.
  • The status menu is in the reminder, so you answer where you were pinged.

M+ runs

What it needs. "Needs a DPS" is the heading, and the group shows as five seats, like your party frame.

  • Full and started. A full run turns green, and at its start time it shrinks to three lines.
  • US evening runs no longer vanish before they start.

When something goes wrong

  • Errors say what to do. "Nothing was posted", then why and who can fix it.
  • No more "did not respond", and no double post when you try again.
  • Baldio tells you when it can't post somewhere, with the fix and the date it stops trying. The warning turns green once it's fixed.

Also

  • Open posts move down once. The first time they update, raid-night posts, M+ runs and the Looking for a key board are posted fresh at the bottom of their channel, without a ping.
  • Setup posts are drawn for phones, with names about twice the size.
Baldio's setup picture: each player down the side, each boss across the top, and the spec they play on every boss
  • Command options read night, plan, ping and link instead of event, reset and the old role and sim options. /wowutils setup is gone: /help answers the same question.
  • Team updates and announcements have one look. The Short line and Full embed choice is gone, and announcements keep the colour you pick.

Before the pull

Until now, nothing on a plan could fire before 0:00. A timer can now go on the pull timer, up to 20 seconds before pull, and shows up as an NSRT reminder before combat starts.

Type a negative time. Open a cast's or text reminder's settings and type something like -0:05 into its time.

Pinned to the left edge. A pre-pull timer sits at the start of the timeline with a chip showing how early it fires.

Assignments too. Pick a timer in Reminder Settings and type a negative time into phase. Only first-phase timers can go negative.

  • In your note. The exported note carries the negative time, so the reminder fires during the pull countdown in game.

Pick a strategy

Some mechanics have more than one way to handle them. Instead of stacking every option on the page, assignments now ask which strategy your team runs, and the Recommended tag marks the most common one.

The Twin Fangs assignments with a Pick a strategy card offering Left/Right Assign (Recommended), Area Assign and Cast Order for Broodling kicks
  • Pick before you fill. Choose a strategy from the card, then fill out only that section. Rotmire's add strat and Twin Fangs' Broodling kicks both have one.
  • Swap any time. The Strategy button on the section swaps strategy. The other strategies keep their assignments, they just leave the page and the note.
  • Already filled one in? The page opens on the strategy your team has filled in the most.

Loot

  • Cleanups stay in their season. Cleanup Sims and Cleanup Wishlists only touch the season on screen, the confirm names what goes and how many, and it unlocks once you type the team name. The panels also fit a laptop screen with a full roster.
  • Removing an M+ sim removes it from the season you're looking at, not every season.
  • A sim on the wrong character is refused. Importing a Druid sim onto a Priest names the character it belongs to, and a mismatched sim already on file is flagged on its row.
  • Sim import. Back and Try Again keep your pasted link, and a failed save says why.
  • Departed raiders no longer show up in Droptimizers.
  • Unlinked characters. An officer opening a roster character nobody has linked yet sees its wishlist read-only, with a note saying why.
  • Wishlist. The sort names the grouping you actually see, By DPS Gain works while viewing another raider, owned M+ items show Got it, and hidden items can be shown in every grouping.
  • Wishlist export. "Only what the current filters show" now covers the Roles and Member filters, and names like Zoë open correctly in Excel.
  • Gear Sheet. The Simulations card shows the raider you are viewing, Ring 2 and Trinket 2 compare against the weaker of your two, and a slot wearing this season's crafted gear counts as planned.
  • Gear outside your guild. Below Boost Tier 2, a raider outside the linked guild sees that their gear isn't tracked at the group's boost, instead of "No gear synced yet".
  • Loot History in English. RCLC imports from any client language show English item names, slots and armor types, earlier imports included.
  • The right difficulty. Mythic loot handed out after zoning into Heroic is filed as Mythic, earlier imports included.
  • Loot History timeline counts raid reset weeks in your region, folds alts into their main when you show mains only, and leaves cosmetics out of the counts.
  • Loot on phones. The Gear Sheet shows each candidate's comparison and labelled ratings without hovering, Group Overview gets an info button for a raider's equipped item and alternatives, and the Droptimizers buttons are big enough to tap.

Public API

Baldio V2 reads everything through the public API, so these changes reach every integration too.

  • People by roster name. In the change feed, actor.name and member names read the person's name on the group's roster, older entries included. Someone with no roster spot shows as their battletag without the number. The new actor.memberId tells two people with the same name apart.
  • New change kinds: absence.created, absence.updated and absence.deleted. More kinds can arrive within v1, so skip a kind you don't know instead of failing the page.
  • Plan changes in detail. A plan entry lists who was put in and taken out for each boss.
  • Calendar nights carry signupsLockAt and the statuses a member can pick that night. A schedule with no statuses saved offers present, absent, tentative and late.
  • Refusals name a reason, such as signups_locked or not_on_roster. Read it as text: new values may appear.

Around the app

  • Item level when swapping characters. On the Setups page, the character swap list shows each character's item level.
The character swap list on the Setups page showing Bloodbagz at 277 and Frostbagz at 264 item level
  • Loot Tier group by. The Loot Tier tab has the same Group by switch as the Roster Report (Role, Armor, Class or None), and the choice carries over between the two.
  • Roster Report. Back works after picking a reset, the Custom dashboard asks before throwing away an unsaved layout, and on a phone it shows one widget per row.

As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord or on the Community page.
