v5.37.0: Timer changes, and your coin on the You page

Feature

Written by Viserio

We retune boss timers all season as real kills come in. This release writes every one of those edits onto the boss itself, fills in the damage the Season 2 timelines were missing, and moves your bonus roll pick onto the You page.

Timer changes, on the boss header

A timer we corrected after you built your plan used to move silently.

A boss header with a clock beside the boss name, opened on a Timer changes panel reading Ability added, No action, and a summary of the ability that was added
  • A changelog per boss. The clock beside the boss name opens every edit we have made to that boss's timers and phases, newest first, down to the abilities and seconds that moved.
  • It tells you whether to act. Each entry is graded: no action, worth a look, re-check your plan, or assignments were dropped and need placing again.
  • Loud only while it matters. A change stays flagged for a week, two if it dropped assignments, then settles into history you can still open.

Season 2 timelines and spells

The big hits were on the timeline and the damage running underneath them was not.

  • Rot windows on five bosses. Uncoiling on Nek'zali, Toxic Vapor on Vash'nik, Eternal Venom on the Twin Fangs, and the presence auras on the Coiled Altar and the Lost Explorers.
  • Ramping rot, drawn as it ramps. Rot that hits harder the longer it runs darkens across its window, so you can see where it actually hurts.
  • Season 2 trinkets and potions. Every on-use trinket and potion for the tier is in the spell list with its real cooldown and duration.

Your coin, on the You page

Picking your bonus roll boss meant a trip to the Loot page.

A raider's You page with a bonus roll picker open on a character row, showing the boss portraits their coin can go on
  • A Bonus roll button on each boss row, naming your pick and opening the boss list.
  • One boss per difficulty. Picking another moves your coin, and raises your hand for that boss at the same time.
  • Your officers read it off your player card while they build that boss's setup.

As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord or on the Community page.
