v5.36.0: Bonus roll targets

Feature

Written by Penkek

Every reset, the same question: which boss gets your coin? My Wishlist now answers it from your own sims.

Bonus roll targets

The bonus roll targets band on My Wishlist, one card per boss with drop-table bars, item icons, and a best coin marker

A new band at the top of My Wishlist shows one card per boss, best coin first.

  • What a coin is worth there. The number on each card is the average gain across every drop you could get from that boss. Items you already own and non-upgrades count as nothing, so a boss with one huge upgrade in a table of junk ranks honestly against a boss with three decent ones.
  • The drop table, drawn. Each card shows the boss's eligible drops as bars, biggest first, with the average marked as a dashed line and the item icons underneath. Hover a bar and it names the item and says why it counts or doesn't: your gain, already yours, or not an upgrade.
  • The chase item. The bottom of each card names the drop you're actually coining for.
  • No sims yet? The band still ranks bosses by your wishlist picks, and says a sim will make the ranking sharper.

Call your coin

Click the coin on a card to mark it as your target for that difficulty. It also raises your hand for that boss, and your officers see the coin on your player card in the setups planner, so "who is coining where" stops being a raid-night survey.

Your rolls, from the game

If your guild runs the WowUtils addon and Bridge, released to everyone today, your actual rolls flow in: a History panel lists this season's rolls with what each one paid out, a spent coin greys the boss out and shows what you rolled, and the band counts your coins spent this reset.
