v5.35.0: Your raid week, night by night

Feature

Written by Viserio

Improvements to the Planning hub, your You page and droptimizer imports, along with a line of feedback requests and bugfixes.

Your week, night by night

The Planning hub showing a week as three setup rows, each with its bosses, cooldown and assignment links, and its own open and auto-build buttons
  • One row per night. Each row carries that night's bosses, its cooldown and assignment links, and the specs you play. Tonight opens; the rest stay a single line until you click.
  • Two groups on one evening. Split runs both read as tonight, each named by its setup, each with its own Open and My assignments buttons.
  • Auto-build roster per night. A comp belongs to one night, so the button sits on the night it builds.
  • Straight to the calendar. Every night links to its own calendar event, so signups and details are one click from the hub.

The same week on your own page

The You page with this week's nights as rows of boss icons over the spec played on each, beside your characters with their sim status and boss requests
  • This week, in miniature. Every night reads like its hub row: the bosses you play as icons, the spec you play them on underneath, and the night ahead marked Today or Up next.
  • One click to where you're going. The date opens that night's setup, each boss opens your own assignments on it, and the night's name opens its calendar event.
  • Your character work in the same place. Update a sim or request in on the bosses you want, per character, without leaving the page.

Where to find it: Group hub, "You" at the top of the list on the left.

Signups that read the same everywhere

Benched, tentative and standby each looked different depending on where you saw them.

  • One badge vocabulary. Roster rows, bench cards and the boss summary all mark a signup the same way.
  • A night you can read. The attendance popover splits the date from everything else instead of packing a night into one wrapping line.

Droptimizer imports

An import that couldn't be read looked exactly like one that worked.

  • A sim we can't read says so. Anything the import doesn't recognise now fails with the reason named, instead of landing on your page with nothing in it.
  • Mythic+ imports stop reporting zero raid items. A dungeon sim has no raid loot to find, so the preview counts what it did find and shows the best gain.
  • Item level brackets corrected. A few upgrade ranks sat one item level high, so an imported sim filed its upgrades under an item level the game doesn't drop.

Around the app

  • Importing a droptimizer without a roster spot. The import button says why it can't run and points you at claiming your spot, rather than just sitting there.
  • Hide the rows you don't use. The Sims row and each difficulty row on your You page fold away.
  • Tooltips on the wishlist alternatives. The OR row's items were the one place on the loot list without a Wowhead tooltip, so pricing an alternative meant leaving the page.
  • Realms in the other region. Searching for a realm your region doesn't have now names the region it is on, instead of showing a blank list.
  • Season 2 item levels corrected. All three raid tracks, both M+ ladders and the loot each boss drops sat one item level high, so bosses advertised gear they don't drop.
  • Week numbering on planned resets tidied up. A plan carried across the season boundary kept its old week name, so the same night could read as two different weeks. Wherever a plan sits next to a week now, it reads as the week it's filed under.

Class spell data updated for 12.1

Every spell in the planner was rechecked against the live game. Cooldowns, durations and charges the patch changed are corrected, talents that now alter a spell are wired in, and abilities 12.1 removed are gone from the picker.
