Two things. Next season's loot is in the app before the season starts, and the Loot tab in Settings now decides what the rest of your team lands on when they open Loot.
Season 2 loot
While two seasons overlap, the Loot section carries a Season picker above the tabs. Switch it to Season 2 and the wishlist views fill with next season's items.
- Both Season 2 raids. The Venomous Abyss and The Tidebound Grotto, every boss with its drops, and class tier pieces on the bosses that drop them.
- The Mythic+ pool. All eight Season 2 dungeons and their loot.
- Item levels match Season 2. A drop shows the item level it will have next season, and its tooltip opens on the Season 2 version of the item.
- Season 1 stays where it is. Loot still opens on the season you are raiding now until you switch.
Set the loot views up for your team
The season is the newest row in the Loot tab in Settings, but the whole tab works the same way: set it once and your team opens on it instead of on stock.
- The season your team is planning. Point everyone's loot views at Season 2 while you prepare for it, or leave them on whichever season is live.
- The sources they open on, and the ones they can pick at all. Normal, Heroic, Mythic and Mythic+ each open or closed. Close one and members can no longer select it, while you keep every source yourself.
- The starting filters and sort. Hide passed, hide obtained, hide non-upgrades, the sort order, and whether gains read as a percent or a raw number.
- The rest of the tab. Which bosses count as targets, your own names for the five wishlist ranks, your Droptimizer standards, and who can see and import Loot History.
Members can still change any of it for their own session, except a source you have closed off.
Best in slot lists for Season 2 have not been published yet, so these items carry no BiS badges for now. They will fill in once the lists are out.
