A batch of loot changes for Midnight Season 1. Admins get to decide how the loot views open for the rest of the team, the loot settings move into their own tab, and people joining your team now see its banner and icon.
Loot view defaults
The loot settings have their own Loot tab in Settings now, split off from Raid Data. It is also where a new set of defaults lives, so a member opens the loot views the way you set them up instead of from stock.
- Default sources. Which sources a fresh visit opens on: Normal, Heroic, Mythic, Mythic+, or any mix. A member with no saved choice of their own lands there.
- Sources open to your team. Turn a source off and non-admins can no longer pick it. You keep every source yourself. If you turn them all off, members keep seeing all of them.
- Starting filters. Hide passed, hide obtained, hide non-upgrades, the sort order, and whether gains show as a percent or a raw number all take a default. Members can still change any of it for their own session.
A team welcome for new members
The group banner now reaches the people joining your team. The setup page a new member lands on is headed by your team's banner and name, and the invite link shows your uploaded icon before they sign in.
Around the app
- Importing while viewing a teammate. While you are looking at another member's wishlist, the header Import button is turned off, so a droptimizer no longer imports onto your own character by mistake. Import for them from the upload action on their row in the Droptimizers view.
- The Pass badge shows its full name. In Group Overview, hovering the compact Pass badge now shows what it stands for, Do not want.
As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord.
