The Audit Log now records most of what happens in your group. Recruiting picks up alts, raid times on the apply page, and question ordering.
Audit Log
The log covered resets and permissions and missed most of the rest. Approving an external character, editing a permission preset, or adding a member straight to the roster left no entry at all. Bulk changes only wrote a summary, so you could see that six nights were cancelled but not which six.
- More actions are logged. Guild bank requests and payouts, guests added to a night, permission presets, the message of the day, readiness settings, roster approvals, members added by an admin, players changing their own signup, Discord accounts being connected or disconnected, and your WowAudit and Warcraft Logs connections.
- Bulk changes list every night. Cancel six nights and you get six entries plus the summary. Saving signups for a whole raid now writes one entry per player.
- Every entry is named. Recruiting, application, report and key entries used to show up as unlabelled grey rows. They now have their own name and colour in the filter.
- Changes made through the API say so. The Who column shows "API key" instead of an internal identifier.
- New notes record where they started. From scratch, from a library note, or from a library pack.
All of it is on for every group, boosted or not.
Recruiting
Recruiting shipped yesterday. Teams that turned it on hit the same three things: alts had nowhere to go, the raid week on the apply page showed days with no times on them, and the questions came in a fixed order.
- Alts on an application. Applicants can add other characters from the same Battle.net account they signed in with. The class comes from Blizzard, they pick the spec. If your team states how many raid-ready alts it expects, applicants who go well past that are pointed back at it. Alts show on the application row and in the full application.
- Raid times on the apply page. A Monday to Sunday strip with start and end times taken from your calendar, prog and farm marked separately. Turn the sync off to type them in yourself. There is a schedule note underneath for things a grid does not cover, like a break week.
- Discord handle field. On by default for new pages, prefilled from the applicant's linked Discord when they have one, with a copy button on the application.
- Question order. Drag the questions into the order applicants see them.
- The preview works before you publish. It shows the real apply page while recruiting is still switched off.
Around the app
- Opening an old plan no longer marks it as your newest. Viewing a previous week used to stamp it as freshly updated.
- Failed syncs no longer wipe character data. A failed sync used to clear a character's item level, gear and progression until the next one worked. The stored data stays put now.
- Log imports fail instead of hanging. A Warcraft Logs outage could leave an import running indefinitely with nothing to show for it. It now stops and reports the failure. Raid Insights also stays responsive while its numbers rebuild.
- Assignments name the character over the API, not just the roster member. Latest reset now follows your raid week instead of whichever plan was touched last.
As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord.
