v5.40.1: Omnium Folio, a fight switch on Loot, and Curio helpers

Update

Written by Penkek

A roundup release. Nothing headline-sized, but a few things that were asked for often: Folio progress on the roster, sims for more than one fight, and helpers that behave like people in Curio.

Omnium Folio on the Roster Report

The Summary view has a new Folio column: a check when all five Omnium Folio chapters are unlocked, a count of the ones still open, a dash when the addon has no quest data for that character yet. Hover it for the open weeks and any chapters credited from another character on the account. The attention chips at the top count open chapters too.

  • Quests by name in the addon sheet. A character's addon details now list the five Folio chapters by week, plus other tracked quests, each marked Unlocked, Not yet, or Unlocked on another character.
  • Weekly quests left for more of the roster. The Economy view's weekly quest count now uses quest data shared through guildmates' addons, so it fills in for characters whose owner does not run the addon themselves.

Loot: pick the fight, share the wishlist

  • A fight switch on the Loot tab. When a season's sims cover more than one fight, an ST / 2T / AoE switch appears next to Sources. The wishlist, coverage numbers, and Droptimizers table follow the fight you pick, and the pick is remembered per group. Teams that set a required target count in their settings read that fight by default.
  • Import verdict up front. The import dialog opens with one line saying whether the report counts for the team wishlist, counts only for another fight, or cannot be used.
  • Has sims / Missing sims. A new filter on the Droptimizers view, next to Mains and Alts.
  • Two permissions for loot council. View Member Wishlists opens any teammate's wishlist, gear sheet, and droptimizers from the character menu, read-only. Edit Member Wishlists allows changing their picks, class templates, spec, boss availability, and droptimizer imports. Officers get both by default; other presets do not.

Curio helpers are players now

Helpers used to be a flat list of characters, so a friend bringing three alts looked like three people. Configure, Helpers, now groups them per player.

  • Add player. One row per person with an optional player name, their characters as toggle chips, and a plus to add another character to the same person.
  • Seats, not bodies. Each row shows characters against splits, and turns red when someone brings more characters than there are splits, since one player fills one seat per split. Section labels say the same thing: "+2 helper seats (11 characters, 1 player)" instead of "+11 helpers".
  • Split. If characters filed under one name turn out to belong to different people, one click separates them.
  • Sections pick players. The section roster editor lists helper players, one checkbox each.

Around the app

  • The sidebar reopens where you left off. Group Hub takes you back to the section and view you last had open in that group, and Planning back to your last tab, including the reset and setup if that was Setups. Shared links and bookmarks still open exactly what they point at.
  • Cooking is a full profession. On the Professions tab it gets its own coverage card, filter, and icon, with Feasts and Food recipe tags. Alchemy's cauldrons have their own Cauldron tag, separate from Flasks. Fishing stays hidden.
  • All classes, all specs. The general assignments panel has All classes and All specs buttons, so you can flip the whole class or spec list on or off at once.
  • Guild links work for names with spaces. The Armory, Raider.IO, and Warcraft Logs links on the group hub now build the right URL for realms and guilds like "Area 52" or "nap time".
  • Freshness marks fade instead of turning red. The dots and clocks that show how current a character's data is now fade as the data ages: bright for today, dimmer for this week, faint past a week. Old is not wrong, so a character who finished their vault on Tuesday no longer looks like a problem. A small warning mark now appears only when something is actually off: a Great Vault still showing last week's reset, or in-game data that has stopped arriving.
  • Crest cells read held / season. Roster Report crest columns show 70 / 100 with a "held / season" caption instead of a dot between the numbers.

As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord or on the Community page.
