Casts only ever told half the story: a cooldown window with Power Infusion behind it is not the same play as one without. The WCL pages now show the buffs each player received, next to the casts they made.
Received buffs on Top Rankings
- Buffs on the timeline. Every top player's received buffs, Power Infusion and other externals, show as small icons alongside their casts.
- Filter them like spells. A new Received buffs section in the sidebar lets you pick which buffs to show, and newly tracked buffs appear by default.
- Void Metamorphosis is back. The game logs no cast event for Devourer's Void Metamorphosis, so it never showed on timelines; it is now rebuilt from the buff it applies and appears like any other cast.
Tracked today: Power Infusion, Pain Suppression, Guardian Spirit, Innervate, Ironbark, Life Cocoon, Rescue, Time Dilation, Spatial Paradox, Blessing of Protection, Blessing of Sacrifice, Blessing of Spellwarding, Intervene, Interpose, Time Spiral, and Bloodlust in all its versions. Missing one we should track? Write a feedback post in Discord.
On WCL Review
Received buffs are full rows on the raid view, so everything the review can do with a spell, it can do with a buff.
- A row of their own. Each buff a player received gets its own row, marked (buff), with applications drawn across pulls just like casts.
- Works with the whole toolkit. Identify Trends, drag-select cast summaries, the pull spotlight and Compare vs Top all treat buff rows like any other spell row.
- Wipes compare fairly. Compare vs Top adds a middle Top* number that cuts each top kill off where your pulls ended, so a pull that died in P2 is no longer measured against a full kill.
- Linked templates compare too. Comparing your casts against a setup's planned cooldowns now also works when a boss's plan is a linked template, using the current Setup on the CD Template.
New boss assignments
Four more bosses come with assignment blocks, so the jobs worth naming are already laid out when you open Assignments.
- Nymrissa Wavecaller. Who immunity soaks the third orb of each Alluring Bubble set, on heroic and mythic.
- The Coiled Altar. Who breaks each Dreadmarch mind control, one row per cast.
- Nek'zali the Soulcoiler. Who stands in the Hungering Pyre circle and who stays out of it.
- The Twin Fangs. A positional split for Caustic Deluge, so the orbs it spawns land where they can be AOE crowd controlled, with the spots on a linked raidplan.
Also in this update: fixed some phase related things for the NSRT note, and the existing Twin Fangs and Entombed Sentinels assignments got roomier group sizes, corrected kick timings and role filters on the soak rows.
As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord or on the Community page.
