v5.39.1: Imports fit your plan and your loot rules

Update

Written by Viserio

Two importers learned the same lesson this release: what you pull in should fit what your group already tracks.

Log imports fit your plan

On the CD planner, pulling a top or WCL import had a few improvements.

  • Only the spells you track. Imports fill the rows already on your timeline instead of opening one for every ability in the log, with a count of what was left out and a toggle to take the lot.
  • Casts land in the right phase. A cast keeps its place inside the phase it was used in, so a kill that ran faster than your plan still lines up with your timings.
The Warcraft Logs import panel open on a Restoration Druid row, listing the top parses and the seven cooldowns it will add

M+ Sims and QE Live sims for Season 2

A QE Live report carries both a raid scan and a dungeon scan, and the import now treats them that way.

  • Raid and M+ in one import. Each half of the report gets its own row in the import dialog, and either can be skipped.
  • Ready for QE Live's next format. Supporting the new changes to the API.
  • Refusals say why. More descriptive errors on unsupported sims.
  • M+ Drops and vault kept apart. M+ end-of-run and Great Vault sims each keep their own item level, gains and source chip, so the M+ vault sim doesn't just overshadow the M+ drops sim.

As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord or on the Community page.
