v5.34.0: Bugfixes and UI/UX improvements

Update

Written by Viserio

The You page is where you keep your own characters current. This pass is about the two things you actually do there: uploading your sims, and telling your officers which bosses you want in on. The rest is fixes.

Request in on a boss

Raising your hand used to mean opening a popover, choosing a difficulty, then hunting for the boss. Every boss on both difficulties now sits on the character's card.

  • Click the boss. Heroic on one row, Mythic on the other. Click a portrait to raise your hand, click it again to lower it. Nothing to save.
  • Your sims are drawn on the portraits. The green bar under each boss is what that boss is worth to you, measured against your best boss on that difficulty. The widest bars are where your upgrades are.
  • Hover for the detail. Your sim gain, how many items it comes from, and how many of your wishlisted items drop there.
Hovering a boss portrait shows its sim gain, the number of items behind it, and a prompt to raise your hand

Sims

The old chip counted your sims but never said which ones were missing, so you had to open the Loot tab to find out.

  • Upload sims, then Update sims. The button says what it does, and turns amber only when your guild is actually waiting on something.
  • One badge per sim your guild asks for. Green is uploaded and current, amber is past your guild's freshness window, and an outline is one you still owe. Click any badge to open the import.
  • Quiet when there is nothing to do. A character with nothing outstanding collapses to a single line, and remembers whether you left it open.

Setup roster

  • Socials stay out of your setup roster. Updating the roster on a setup no longer pulls in members who do not raid. If you do want them, there is an Include Socials option in the Update Roster menu.

Around the app

  • The Coiled Altar and Tip the Scales. Spirit Erasure is now on the timeline as the raid damage during the Soulbinding channel, and Preservation Evoker's Tip the Scales is corrected to a two minute cooldown.
  • Other minor UI/UX improvements.

As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord or on the Community page.
