The weekly setup post was the last piece of Baldio you could only set up in Discord. It moves to the website in this release.
The weekly setup post
Once a week, Baldio posts the raid setups for your next reset. Until now that meant a slash command and a form with a dropdown for the hour and another for the minutes, and no way to see afterwards what you had picked.
- Pick a day and a time. Open Integrations, go to Channels, and use Post your setups from a channel card or from the buttons at the bottom. Times are in your server's timezone, and the card says which one that is.
- Ping who you want. Pick the roles the post should mention, or none at all.
- Change it without starting over. Move it to another evening, or add a role, from the same card.
- Stop it and start it again. A stopped schedule stays on the card with its settings. Starting it again picks up at the next occurrence rather than posting straight away to catch up.
- Remove the ones you are done with. Stopped schedules get an ✕.
The card shows when the next post goes out. After you add or change a schedule, Baldio works out that time on its own within a few minutes, so the line reads "Working out the next one" for a moment first.
The four /schedule commands still work, and will be removed once the web version has had some time.
Around the app
- Schedules Baldio gave up on can be started again. A schedule that failed for long enough is stopped, and in Discord there was no way back for one that had merely been turned off. Both can be started from the card, and starting one clears the failure so it gets a full run of chances again.
- The reason it failed is on the row. Usually a permission Baldio no longer has in that channel.
- Every change is in the Audit Log. Adding, changing, stopping, starting and removing a schedule all show who did it and when.
As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord.
