v5.29.0: A sharper By class view, and a row per difficulty

Update

3 August 2026

Written by Penkek

A round of work on the Group Overview in your group's Loot section, most of it on the By class view.

By class

The grid told you who picked what and little else. There was no note, no gain number, no way to narrow it to one response, and selecting only Mythic+ left you looking at an empty view.

  • Filter by response. A Response filter joins Member and Roles, using your group's own tier names, so a group that renamed a tier to "bad stats" filters by "bad stats".
  • Notes in the cell. A pick's personal note sits on a second line under the response. Long ones are cut off, with the full text on hover.
  • The sim gain next to the response. When a droptimizer covers that item, its number sits beside the badge and follows your Display setting for absolute or percent.
  • Click a name to open that wishlist. The character names across the top are now buttons. Clicking one opens their wishlist, the back button returns to the grid, and the link you copy from the address bar opens the same wishlist for whoever you send it to.
  • By slot groups by slot. Armor no longer arrives as one pile: each category breaks into head, shoulders, chest and the rest, in gear order.
  • Mythic+ on its own works. With only Mythic+ selected the grid read "Nobody has picked any loot yet" no matter how many dungeon picks your team had. Fixed.

Every item: one row per difficulty

An item you can get at both Heroic and Mythic was a single row. It carried the tag of the highest difficulty you had checked, and merged the claimants and gains from every difficulty into one line, so two different sets of numbers read as one.

  • One row per difficulty you have checked. The twins sit next to each other, Mythic first, and each carries its own tag, item level, claimants and gains.
  • Tier pieces too. A boss with a tier set shows one collapsed tier group per difficulty.
  • Section counts count rows. A boss with 30 items reads 60 with two difficulties checked. That is what is on screen.
  • Mythic+ items stay one row. Dungeon loot has no difficulty ladder, so nothing there splits.
  • Where an item is from. The two places a raid row showed no source, the slot view when a slot only has one boss, and the collapsed list of quiet items, now name the boss it drops from.
  • Checking Mythic+ keeps your display. Turning Mythic+ on while reading By Boss moved you to By Slot. It now stays grouped by source: raid bosses first, then dungeons.

Droptimizers for a two-raid season

Midnight Season 2 has two raids, The Venomous Abyss and The Tidebound Grotto, and Raidbots sims one of them at a time. A complete submission is two sims per difficulty, and the app now treats it that way.

  • A row per raid. A raid you have not simmed yet shows as an empty row with an Import droptimizer button, instead of not being there at all.
  • Submissions show how far along someone is. A character with one of two sims reads 1/2 with the same warning look a missing import has, and hovering names the raid still to come. Seasons that only expect one sim show no fraction, as before.
  • The season picker covers the whole view. Picking a season now filters your droptimizers, their names and your submissions together, so a sim from one season can no longer show up in another season's list or paint its gains onto a wishlist there.

Around the app

  • Your loot settings stay put. The overview view, the Response, Member and Roles filters, and hidden wishlist tags now survive switching to another tab in your group and coming back, and a reload.

As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord or on the Community page.
