Two updates here. A new top boost tier, along with a bit of the story behind it, and faster Raid Team refreshes so the gear you plan around stays current.
The new top tier: Boost Tier 4
The Legendary supporter tier exists because people asked for a way to support more. We treat it as exactly that: support. We're not going to stack must-have features behind our most expensive tier, because we don't think anyone should feel pushed into paying that much for a raid tool. What it brings in goes straight back into building the tool, and what it unlocks is built to be shared.
Tier 4 is that idea at the group level: one Legendary supporter's boost points take their whole group to the new top tier, and what the group unlocks, everyone in it gets.
- No ads for the whole group. Everyone browsing a Tier 4 group's pages does so ad-free, not just the supporter who set it up.
- Templates and examples for everyone. The official template library and supporter example packs open up for every member of a Tier 4 group, so anyone on the team can start from them.
- Every limit raised. In truth, even Tier 3's limits rarely get in anyone's way. We raise them all anyway: a group supporting at this level is really supporting us, so we give what we can give. A bigger roster, more tracked characters, longer loot history and audit records, more saved cooldown notes per boss, a larger Warcraft Logs import pool, and priority in the optimizer queue.
Assign your points in the Boost tab of your Group Hub.
Your supporter perks, laid out clearly
We rebuilt the supporter page so every tier's perks are laid out side by side. It's worth a look even if you already support: some perks are easier to find now, and you may spot ones you already have.
Faster roster refreshes
Planning is only as good as the gear data behind it. We retuned how character data is fetched, and characters on your Raid Team now refresh about three times as often as before. In the Tier 3 group I raid with, Raid Team characters were refreshed 12 times over one 8-hour stretch, so item levels, scores, and specs stay close to what people are actually wearing.
- See each character's refresh status. A character's pane now shows when it last synced and where it sits in line, so you always know how fresh its gear is.
- Jump a character to the front. Groups at Tier 3 and up get a button to request a refresh for a single character, pushing it to the top of the queue when you need it updated right now.
As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord.
