In 5.0 we said NSRT would soon export your live raid group so you could take a plan from the Library and apply it to the group in front of you, no setup needed. That's live now. Export your raid in-game, paste it into the Cooldown Library, copy a full cooldown note back. About 15 seconds, start to finish.
From your raid to a note
Library plans are CD Templates: cooldowns assigned to a spec or class, not a name, so they fit any roster. Until now you still needed a setup built in Viserio to apply one. For a pug, or a group you put together five minutes before pull, that was the slow part. Now you can skip it.
1. Export from NSRT in-game
In NSRT, export your current raid group to your clipboard.
2. Press From NSRT in the Library
On any plan in the Cooldown Library, press the From NSRT button.
3. Paste
Your raid drops in, sorted into tanks, healers, and DPS. Anyone whose spec the addon couldn't read (no BigWigs or DBM installed) is flagged so you can set it in a click.
4. Copy CDs
The plan is matched to the raid you pasted and copied to your clipboard, ready to paste into NSRT in-game.
Where it helps
- Pugs and last-minute groups. Hand a pug real healing cooldowns in the time it takes to invite them.
- Even with specs missing, the basics still land. Class cooldowns like Rallying Cry, roars, and Time Spiral only need the class, not the spec, so they get assigned even for players without BigWigs or DBM. At worst you fix a few specs by hand, at best you set nothing and copy.
- Split helpers. On early Normal and Heroic split nights, helpers who aren't in your usual setup still walk in with their cooldowns.
- No setup, no account. It works straight from the Library, signed in or not, and it's free.
What's next
Cooldowns are the start. Next we'll let you pull ad-hoc assignments the same way, so you can hand out jobs to a group on the fly, not just their cooldowns.
As always, feedback and ideas are welcome in Discord.
