The last Baldio post ended with a list of what was coming next. Most of it has landed. Baldio now chases signups for you before raid, and raiders can set their status or send in a sim without opening the site. Baldio also moves to its own version numbering with this release, so its posts no longer share the site's version.
Reminders before raid
Filling a signup sheet meant reading the event post, working out who had not answered, and pinging them by hand. Two reminder types now do that on a timer, in whichever channel you set them up.
- Signup reminders.
/channel add-signup-reminderposts before an event and pings only the members who have not set a status yet. - Stale sim warnings.
/channel add-pre-raid-warning-reminderdoes the same for members whose sim has gone stale, so gear checks happen before pull instead of during it. - Lead time and roles. Pick how far ahead it fires, up to 24 hours before the event, and up to three roles to mention on the post.
- No reminder when everyone has answered. If nobody is missing, nothing is posted. Groups that do not track signups or sims never get the matching reminder.
/channel remove-reminder lists what a channel has set up and removes the one you pick.
Raiders can use Baldio directly
Every signup change and sim upload used to go through the site. Two /raider commands now cover the common cases from Discord.
/raider set-event-status. Pick an upcoming night and set your status. Only the statuses that night actually allows are offered./raider submit-wishlist-sim. Paste a Raidbots or QE Live link and it imports to your wishlist. Anything the import wants to warn you about comes back with it.
Event posts
- Cancelled nights read as cancelled. The title is struck through and marked Cancelled, and the signup buttons come off the post.
- Day names on the title. The weekday sits next to the date, so a post is readable without working out what 30-07 was.
- Unanswered signups show as no reply yet. On nights that ask members to confirm, a signup nobody has answered shows as "no reply yet" instead of the status it started on, and is not counted as present.
The officer feed covers the rest of your group
Subscribing a channel with /channel subscribe-group-changes gave you raid nights, signups and Discord links. Everything else the feed received was dropped before it reached the channel.
- Applications and recruiting activity appear. Submissions and decisions on your recruitment listing now show up alongside the rest.
- Edited and deleted nights are reported. Previously only creation and cancellation made it through.
- Discord link entries name the person. They read "Unknown member" every time before this.
Around the bot
- Rebinding a channel.
/channel bind-groupnow moves the channel to the new group instead of returning an error. - Setup thumbnails. Channel postings can show just the first setup as a thumbnail rather than every one.
- Deleted channels stop being retried. When a channel Baldio posted to is removed, its posting setup is cleaned up instead of being retried on every pass.
