Introduction
This guide is for farming Weavercloth and Duskweave in a 2x4 group setup to ensure mobs hyperspawn in the 'The War Within' expansion. This method allows up to 8 players to tag and loot the same mobs, maximizing cloth drops and efficiency.
Profession Explanation
To efficiently farm cloth, it's essential to have the Tailoring profession with the following specialization: Textile Treasure (30 points), Quality Fabric (30 points), and From Dawn Until Dusk (for Dawnweave Tailoring, which gives scraps of Dawnweave). Tailoring is mandatory for this method. Additionally, having Inscription can be beneficial for crafting Darkmoon Cards, but this guide focuses on Tailoring.
Farming Location
The farming spot is located at coordinates 45.31, 59.69 on the Isle of Dorn, south of Dornogal. Pull mobs from all directions into a stack spot at this coordinate, ideally one of the groups has a Brewmaster for statue.
Loot and Item Value
About 40-60 green and blue items will drop per hour. You have the option to sell these items or disenchant them if you have Enchanting. For this guide, we will value these items at an average of 300 gold each. Keep in mind that having Inscription can change the profitability depending on the current market for Darkmoon Cards.
Drops and Estimations
The mobs you'll be farming are the Nerubians that spawn at this location, which drop various ranks of Weavercloth and Duskweave since theyre Humanoids. These are the drops you can expect in a moderately efficient group:
- 220 Weavercloth Rank 1
- 240 Weavercloth Rank 2
- 100 Weavercloth Rank 3
- 70 Duskweave Rank 1
- 70 Duskweave Rank 2
- 50 Duskweave Rank 3
- 60 Weavercloth Bolt Rank 1
- 45 Weavercloth Bolt Rank 2
- 30 Weavercloth Bolt Rank 3
Estimated Gold Per Hour
Based on the drops and the assumed value of green and blue items, the estimated raw gold you can earn per hour from this farming method is approximately 50,000 gold. This includes selling gray items, green items, and other miscellaneous drops.
