This one's been cooking for a while and we're genuinely stoked to get it out there. Viserio Cooldowns 3.0 brings real-time collaborative editing, autosave, a resets overhaul, and a brand new grid view for the cooldown timeline. Basically every major pain point you've told us about, we went after all of them at once.
Let's get into it.
Collaborative Editing
You can now work on notes together in real time, just like Google Sheets. Multiple officers editing CDs at the same time? No more "wait let me finish first" or accidentally overwriting each other's work. You'll see changes appear as they happen.
This works on:
- Cooldowns & Assignments
- Setup & Resets
- Roster
Edits on the Setup page sync to linked CD and Assignment pages instantly. No refresh needed.
This was by far the most requested feature and the biggest infrastructure challenge we've tackled. We rebuilt how data flows through the entire app to make this work. It's fast, it's stable, and it feels really good to use.
You also get Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y undo/redo support across all collaborative pages.
Autosave
All collaborative pages now save automatically as you work. Close the tab, switch bosses, alt-tab back to the game. Your changes are safe.
No more save buttons. No more "did I save?" anxiety. It just works.
Resets Overhaul
The Resets page got a full UI/UX rework. If you've been using Resets already, you'll notice it's way cleaner and more intuitive now. If you haven't been using them, now's a great time to start.
Here's what changed:
- Redesigned layout: cleaner toolbar, compact setup tabs, and a more organized boss grid
- Better setup management: create, duplicate, rename, and delete setups with right-click context menus
- Copy All Notes: one button to copy every CD, assignment, and invite list for the entire reset to your clipboard. You can toggle exactly what gets included
- Improved bench view: benched players are now grouped by role (tanks, healers, melee, ranged) so you can see your roster at a glance
- WowAudit integration: import your roster directly from WowAudit
- Share to Discord: share your setup with a formatted Discord message and a direct link
Grid View
This one's been highly requested. There's now a grid view as an alternative to the horizontal SVG timeline on the cooldown page.
Think of it like a spreadsheet: boss abilities as rows, players as columns, cooldowns in cells. If you've ever planned CDs in a Google Sheet before switching to Viserio, this will feel immediately familiar.
- Toggle between timeline and grid view at any time. Your assignments stay the same
- Drag and drop spells just like on the timeline
- Works with collaborative editing, so multiple people can use the grid at the same time
Shoutout: Ortemis
Huge props to Ortemis for making collaborative editing happen. He picked up the collab work last spring and pushed through months of grueling infrastructure refactoring. The app was never originally built with real-time editing in mind, so getting there meant reworking a lot of core systems from scratch. Without his effort, we wouldn't have collab editing for this tier. Period.

Wrapping Up
This is the biggest update we've ever shipped. Collab editing alone took months of infrastructure work, and we layered the resets overhaul and grid view on top because we wanted 3.0 to really deliver.
