Text assignments, target glows, and custom timer settings

Assign Text

In the Visibility tab you can enable the Notes row. Assigning a Note will give a text warning instead of a spellicon warning. The Note warning will also trigger Text To Speech(TTS) in game. This is an incredibly powerful and versatile tool, used for personal reminders for single players, or raidcalls for everyone in the raid.

Assign to Group

Above your players in the timeline are groups such as Everyone, Tanks, Healers etc. Assigning a Spell or Note here will warn everyone from that category. Especially the Everyone tag is incredibly powerful for assigning personal defensives, healthpots or Notes.

Add Target Glow

Alt+Right-click a spell to assign one or more targets to a spell. This will trigger a raidframe glow on the targets for the duration of the kaze WA display (your warn duration). Use this for external defensives, powerinfusion or to highlight important players in key moments of the fight.

Timer Settings

Alt+Right-click on any spell or note to open the settings dialog, then navigate to the Timer Settings tab. Here you can customize how timers work for individual spell casts:

Timer Types

  • Dynamic Timer from Phase (default) - Timer starts from the current phase
  • Dynamic Timer from Previous Phase - Timer starts from the previous phase (useful for spells right after phase transitions)
  • Static Timer from Pull - Timer starts from the beginning of the encounter

This is particularly useful when you want to plan cooldowns right after phase transitions, where previously you could only get a timer as long as the time from phase to spell cast. Now you can make the timer start from pull, or carry over from the previous phase. Examples include One-armed Bandit or Mug'zee mechanics.

Custom Cooldowns

You can set a custom cooldown for any spell, either for all casts or for a specific cast, using the Timer Settings tab. This lets you override the default cooldown for more precise planning.

Multi-Charge Spells

Spells with multiple charges are fully supported: the planner tracks charge usage and cooldowns, so you can visualize and plan around spells that can be used more than once before recharging.
